With over 25 years of construction experience, Ben’s personable leadership style and collaborative approach have resulted in the success of projects throughout Western Canada. By combining his expert technical knowledge with business and management acumen, he excels at assembling and empowering talented teams of professionals that drive innovation and the success of our clients. As owner of VPAC, Ben is responsible for fostering client relationships, ensuring appropriate consultants are hired and project team’s performance meets client expectations.

Warren Bakk

COO

Warren fosters our client relationships and is their day-to-day contact on projects. With over 25 years of construction experience, he also takes care of our special projects including project management and overall project delivery. His invaluable insight into every phase of a project helps to accurately establish project scope, budgets and schedules, and his combination of experience and expertise gives our clients the critical ability to implement ongoing value engineering throughout a project’s life cycle.  

Doug Sissons

DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION

With over 30 years of experience on a variety of construction projects valued at over $1 billion, Doug is an integral member of the VPAC team. He is responsible for hiring quality site superintendents, supervising numerous sub-trades, establishing on-site safety, and maintaining overall project schedules. His attention to detail ensures projects run smoothly, with zero down town time and minimal impacts to surrounding neighborhoods and communities.

Irina Borissova

CONTROLLER

Irina’s role as financial manager and fiscal strategist places her at the core of our team. As an experienced full-cycle accountant, she is responsible for our general accounting, policy development, budgeting and financial planning forecasts as well as process management.

Brady Irwin

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

As our business development lead, Brady’s experience in relationship building spans several market sectors and industries. Along with fostering long-term relationships and finding innovative solutions for our clients, his industry insight and market knowledge makes him a pillar of our team.

Nathan Kalenuik

SR. PROJECT MANAGER

Nathan is one of the top construction project managers in the province. He brings over 20 years of construction experience. Nathan is a Certified Energy Manager with the Association of Energy Engineers – to help with corporate sustainability goals. Nathan specializes in mechanical, electrical, and safety systems and adds unmatched value in the pre-construction phase.
