Bench Accounting

This new tech start-up has expanded at a rapid rate since they opened in 2012. Bench offers online bookkeeping services for small businesses, independent contractors and entrepreneurs. The founder, Ian Crosby, was named Forbes 30 Under 30 winner. In 2016, their team grew to over 250 staff, and they relocated their Headquarters to the newly finished TELUS Podium Tower in Downtown Vancouver, taking all three commercial floors within the building. There has been much acclaimed press for their minimalist design and passion for collaborative spaces. Each floor has its own kitchen, and the top floor features a presentation area. It is based on an open plan concept with sit-stand workstation options, telephone rooms, open and enclosed training rooms, informal collaboration space, a boardroom and reception area.
