SFU Vancouver Research Commons

Simon Fraser University campus in downtown Vancouver has more than 10,000 graduate and undergraduate student enrollments and VPAC was engaged to renovate its Research Commons. Created to be a flexible, technology-enabled space on the 7th floor of Harbour Centre, the Research Commons supports graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, and other researchers in building cross-discipline scholarly communities. The renovations included private offices, consultation rooms, instructional space, dedicated workstations and a casual seating area for students and faculty. Mechanical and electrical upgrades included audio-visual system enhancement, lighting, and fire-stopping.
