Design Build Pre-Construction Construction Management

AVL hired VPAC to manage the construction, architectural, engineering planning, and design of a new test lab for research, prototyping, and hydrogen fuel cell testing. The specialized scope of work consisted of two major areas; non-lab and Lab areas. The non-lab space included offices, meeting rooms, reception area, centralized desk area, server room, first aid areas, bathrooms, shower facilities, printing; stationary area, and a kitchenette. The Lab area included a H2 testing facility, engineering & prototyping spaces, instrument & measurement capabilities, SEM room, chemical processing, machine shop, recycling & disposal, shipping & receiving as well as storage.
